I think the problem with using to the term “I believe” is that it makes me think about an opinion or personal view that has no solid proof. Or that the person is about to go on a rant about personal experiences I do not share. I learned that I have used this term incorrect. Correctly I would say, based of my families traditions, the area they originated from and the hardships endured have led my views and practices to align with those of Christianity.
