Space

To me this lesson was a little bit harder. I struggled with the point of space. I see now based on Tweed says what space is not. I understand that space is special to people for different reasons. I learned that culture and politics can give space special meaning. Unfortunately, not all space is deemed special to the world. I look at what space means to me. My office is where I can have quite and no distractions, the same for Religious Spaces. What I think is special about space others will not, and vise versa. It seems like a clear decision to have space away from distractions. Perhaps even classifying their space with special meaning apart from the world, or others understanding. Also depending of the activities performed over time space can be classified as evil or holy. I would look at the space where Joel Olsten preaches, Lakewood Church. Years before the space was a place of worship it was called the Summit. I know from experience all the concerts, events and parting that happened in that place were not for the good of God. Not that space has evolved into a place of worship putting God first. I have not attended by the way, the memories of what happened there, crazy stuff. Interesting how space can change.
