I understand that people used religious texts for their gain. From holy wars, to crusades, there are those who would manipulate these texts to benefit from their use. The issue is with uneducated people, if they receive a twisted message they might be incline to hurt themselves or others, even becoming lost to a faith. The scary thing is when one puts a goal with a religious groups they will act in a way unworried about the harm or sin due to thinking their acts are being moved by a higher power. This allows for people to kill or oppress in the name of religion. Scary.
